Born in Petrosani, Romania, Dacian Marcel Rusz moved to the United States at 4-years-old and has been a Michigander ever since.
Mr. Rusz graduated one semester early from the University of Michigan-Ann Arbor with a Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science in December 2015. He went on to obtain his Master of Jurisprudence and Juris Doctor from Michigan State University College of Law, graduating cum laude in 2019.
While attending law school, Mr. Rusz worked as a clinician in the MSU College of Law Civil Rights Clinic, where he learned how to take depositions and handle the discovery phase of litigating federal civil rights claims using the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure. Mr. Rusz also worked as a law clerk at a personal injury law firm, where he gained valuable experience preparing litigation pleadings, motions, briefs, and other documents for No-Fault, premises liability and sexual assault cases.
