Ashleigh K. Russett

Ashleigh Kline Russett graduated in 2013 from Central Michigan University where she earned a Bachelor of Science in French and Political Science.

Ms. Russett obtained her Juris Doctorate at Michigan State University College of Law in 2017. While attending MSU Law, Ms. Russett competed in national moot court competitions and published a research note in the Michigan State International Law Review in 2017. Before joining Hewson & Van Hellemont, Ms. Russett served as a Legislative Aide and Policy Specialist in the Michigan House of Representatives.

Ms. Russett was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2017 and is a member of the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel. She joined Hewson & Van Hellemont, P.C. in December of 2017. Her areas of practice include insurance defense and subrogation.

Currently, Ms. Russett serves as a Member of the State Bar of Michigan Representative Assembly for the 17^th Circuit. She also volunteers as a CASA (Court-Appointed Special Advocate) for foster children in Kent County.
