Makena Meeks

Makena Meeks is an attorney admitted to the State Bar of Michigan. Makena completed her Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice and Psychology at Seton Hall University, in 2021, graduating Summa Cum Laude. Makena went on to attend Michigan State University where she earned her Juris Doctor and Master of Business Association degrees, graduating in May 2025. During law and business school, Makena gained valuable legal and business experience as a student attorney for the Equitable Entrepreneurship and Innovation Law Clinic, where she worked on matters involving intellectual property rights and contractual proceedings. Makena has joined the Insurance Defense team in our Southfield office.
