Michael Kon received his Bachelor of Arts degree from the James Madison College at Michigan State University in 2008 where he studied Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy. He attended Wayne State University Law School and graduated with his Juris Doctorate in 2011. Michael was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan and into the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Michigan in 2011. He is also a member of the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel (MDTC).
While in law school, Michael was an active member of the law review and in the spring of 2012 his article, iJury: The Emerging Role of Electronic Communication Devices in the Courtroom, was published by the Wayne Law Review.
Mr. Kon aggressively litigated employment law and civil rights matters as an associate at a plaintiff law firm before joining Hewson & Van Hellemont, P.C. in 2012.
