Scott Hansberry

Scott Hansberry is a Partner at Hewson & Van Hellemont. Scott graduated from James Madison College within Michigan State University in 1987, with a major in socio-economics. He then graduated from Drake University Law School in 1990, where he served on the Moot Court Board, as an Honor Board Justice, and President of his Legal Fraternity. He has been licensed to practice in Michigan State and Federal Courts since 1990.

Prior to Joining Hewson & Van Hellemont, Scott managed a plaintiff personal injury law firm, where he was successful at both the trial and appellate court levels. Scott’s years of experience as a plaintiff’s attorney provide a unique insight and ability to evaluate first and third party not fault claims and effectively represent his clients.

Scott currently practices insurance defense, handling first and third party no fault clams, as well as uninsured/underinsured motorist claims.
