Kandie Carson

Kandie Carson is a dual degree graduate of Washington University in St. Louis, and a proud graduate of THE Ohio State University College of Law. Kandie has over 30 years of experience in the insurance industry in a variety of roles, including serving as Lead Counsel, Officer, and Assistant Secretary to the Board of Directors for the Specialty Products Division of Nationwide Insurance, as a Labor Relations Officer for the State of Ohio, and as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Akron teaching Labor Management Relations and the Legal & Social Environment in Business. She has served with a number of professional organizations, including past Chair of the Ohio State Bar Association’s Insurance Law committee, OSBA Litigation Section Board of Governors, a current and past mentor to new attorneys on behalf of the Ohio Supreme Court, and as past conference chair and amicus committee member for NASP. Kandie was appointed to the Certified Grievance Committee for the Ohio Supreme Court and successfully prosecuted an attorney who had taken advantage of his vulnerable clients. Kandie is a black belt in Lean Six Sigma, an appointed arbitrator with FINRA, an experienced mediator in facilitative, evaluative, and transformative mediation, and a lifetime member of Mensa.

Kandie is licensed in both Ohio and Michigan, along with the Northern and Southern District Courts of Ohio.
