Lynn Sholander graduated with honor from James Madison College at Michigan State University in 2011, where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Theory and Constitutional Democracy as well as Social Relations and Policy. She then attended Wayne State University Law School with a full-tuition scholarship. While in law school, Ms. Sholander was an active member of the Wayne Law Review, serving as its editor-in-chief during her last year at Wayne Law. She received her Juris Doctorate in 2014, graduating magna cum laude and as a member of the Order of the Coif.
Ms. Sholander was admitted to the State Bar of Michigan in 2014. Before joining Hewson and Van Hellemont, P.C. in September 2017, Ms. Sholander served as a judicial law clerk for the Michigan Court of Appeals, working under the Honorable Michael J. Riordan and the Honorable Kurtis T. Wilder. She also worked as a research attorney for the Michigan Court of Appeals Research Division.
In addition to her responsibilities at the firm, Ms. Sholander is an appointed member of the State Bar of Michigan’s District I Character and Fitness Committee.
