Reid Morris

Reid Morris graduated from Iowa State University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing in 2006 and went on to obtain his Juris Doctorate from Howard University School of Law in 2012. While attending HUSL, Reid worked with the Institute for Intellectual Property and Social Justice and the IP Students’ Association.

Prior to joining Hewson & Van Hellemont, P.C., Mr. Morris worked as solo practitioner in intellectual property law and later at a national firm engaged in pharmaceutical patent litigation (ANDA) and trademark prosecution and inter parties matters before the USPTO Trademark Trial and Appeals Board. As such, Reid has significant experience working with pharmaceutical and medical clients in various intellectual property and contracting matters.

Mr. Morris is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and a member of the Bar of the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. He is licensed to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Eastern and Western Districts of Michigan. In his spare time, Reid enjoys traveling with his family and riding and racing bicycles.
