Robert J. Fischer graduated from Michigan State University’s Eli Broad College of Business in 2011 where he earned a B.A. of Science majoring in Business and Pre-Law. He then attended the Michigan State University College of Law and received his Juris Doctorate in 2014. During law school, Mr. Fischer interned with house counsel for a large insurance carrier in Lansing, MI where he gained invaluable experience with Michigan No-Fault. Robert also worked at the Michigan State College of Law-Small Business & Non Profit/Tax Clinic, which provides legal services to small businesses and nonprofit organizations.
Prior to Mr. Fischer’s role as an Attorney with Hewson & Van Hellemont, PC, he worked for a large insurance defense firm in Florida specializing in personal injury claims for five years. While in Florida, Robert was a member of the Jacksonville Bar Association, Workers’ Compensation Section of the Florida Bar, and the E. Robert Williams Inn of Court. His area of practice includes insurance defense for no fault cases and workers’ compensation.
Mr. Fischer is licensed to practice law in both Michigan and Florida.
