For over 25 years, Timothy O’Connor has specialized in civil litigation representing a major insurance provider and its insureds in matters involving Michigan no-fault third-party automobile negligence, no-fault personal injury protection benefits, assigned claims, uninsured and underinsured motorist benefits, dramshop, wrongful death, ERISA, insurance fraud, housing and van modifications, coverage issues, declaratory relief, legal opinions, EUOs and subrogation. Mr. O’Connor has a command of medical issues to control damage claims, effective negotiating skills and has had continued success in trying to a conclusion almost fifty jury trials. He prides himself on timely, detailed and helpful client communication.

Mr. O’Connor graduated from Michigan State University and the University of Detroit School of Law. He attended the National Institute for Trial Advocacy and is admitted to practice in both the State of Michigan and the United States Federal Court–Eastern District of Michigan. In the past, he was a member of State Farm’s Claim Litigation Counsel and he has served as a facilitator, case evaluator and seminar presenter.
